Not till near the middle of next year. Knowing the way we do things, we’ll pick ours way before we have to though.   :dontknow:

I kind of hate that. It means teams have extra time to look at player footage and pick their teams based on what Australia have picked. We should pick around the same time but only reveal it when everyone else is. LA would be terrible at poker imo.

I think they generally try to organise major tournaments like that these days, having Aust, NZ & Eng games on as much as possible at times which are pretty suitable for TV viewing in those countries..

She will. I can’t think of anyone else who would even be close to making the team?? The only way I can see her not making the team is if Cobden makes it and Neville only takes 4 midcourters in Haythornthwaite, Pittman, Guthrie, Cobden.

Yeah I think Clarke will be there too. But England do have some very talented young midcourters – Imogen Allison looks to be the next Serena Guthrie, Panagarry and Gab Marshall are also reliable. I imagine England will take a similar team as they did to CWG. Except Fisher instead of Corbin and Guscoth instead of Gibson.

I completely agree with you Raz99: I think Imogen Allison is very exciting. Hopefully this season she consolidates a very strong previous season and makes her way into the team. Her backing up jump is incredible?

I think training with Guthrie at Bath is going to do wonders for Imogen Allison.

She is very impressive – so much so that she actually managed to keep Vangalee Williams on the bench when she was there the previous season!

I’m also expecting good things from Amy Carter – impressed with what I’ve seen so far from her.

Yes Amy Carter is a serious talent and I think she plays C too?  We could do with another strong option at C.
