Wasps has an impressive bench but I wonder how many of the players are getting fed up of not getting court time. Will any move next season?

I agree: there’s no way Sam May should be sat on the bench ever! She’d be perfect at Lightning.

And Josie Huckle. Both brilliant players and far too much bench time.  Lightning I think need a new a new GK and Thunder will need to replace Almond.

What about Candappa? Another talent spending time on the bench.  Fisher moved because she wasn’t getting the court time, so I’m betting others will.

    I suppose there is Keable!

Candappa is pregnant but I agree she did used to spend too much time on the bench before.

I think that is the thing with Wasps though. They do so well as they have a starting 7 that play consistently. It’s just a shame as they have a talented bench too.

Sam May is definitely a starting player but with Fran Williams getting an England call up she is going to get more court time there are only so many positions.

Well that will be why I’ve not seen candappa on court…… Apart from the fact there were so few televised Wasps games lol.

Oh I wondered why Candappa wasn’t playing too! She’s definitely the Roses C/WA “who got away”……The timing has just never been right for her 😢

    Still congratulations to her!

Aren’t Wasps the only club that pay the players for more than just expenses?

Sorry that sounds silly but it was something Greenway said that implied they get a bit or extra cash.

I think Jade may retire after WC, she’s 30+, so is Knights, Dunn and May (?). They will have to rebuild

Wasps competing down in NZ in December. It will be interesting who they take down in the squad, and how they shape up to the other quality teams.
