I may be wrong but I remember an article which highlighted the difficulty with doing both jobs especially with the Ferns and something along the lines of her being around to get them to the end of the World Cup or something. I have paraphrased a lot there but I thought Lightning was her priority not the Ferns. Not an opinion just what I remember gathering sometime last year from an article posted on the forum. Could be wrong though because she seems to be currently enjoying her work with the Ferns.

They will offer it to Greenway. I hope she takes it. She knows the game and our players inside out. She has their respect and she represents netball well, being articulate and knowledgeable. She  will also continue Neville’s good work bringing the game into the public eye.
