Awesome – thanks Lurch!  So on stats alone, Fisher should be going to Liverpool!

And I’d take Sasha over Pitman, simply because she has that explosive pace and power that Pitman hasn’t got any more…and she can also play C.

Maybe my heart ruling my head but my pick would be:

    Harten, Housby, Fisher, Dunn

    Guthrie, Haythornthwaite, Cobden, Clarke

    Mentor, Eboni, Guscoth, Gibson

(All subject to full fitness of course)

Pitman won’t miss selection after changing her allegiances

    Quad series picks

    Harten, Housby, Dunn, Fisher

    Nat H, Guthrie, Clarke, Pitman

    Mentor, Ama, Guscoth, Gibson

I’m only thinking as far as the Jan Quad series. I think TNev won’t want to be bottom of the table, however, i don’t think all the players will be available. For example i don’t think EUB will travel and i’m not sure Ama will be fit.

If Ama isn’t fit???   will she take Raz or Williams. :dontknow:    Artman was first pick for the JAM series but i think Raz has taken over her. I think she’d pick Raz simply for balance, she needs another GK.

If Gibson gets on the court it will be as WD. I think Dunn will see some court time but not sure about Fisher

Thanks for the reports and updates, guys.

Yes, Ian, I had worried that now that the Roses had a real gold medal as well as a bulging trophy cabinet of team of the year awards that EN might have dropped their ‘every girl gets a prize’ ceremony, but I needn’t have been concerned.

I think with this team you need to take another WA so would need Pitman too as the others are WD’s plus Gibson plays there so no need for 4 WD’s!

I think if Cobden goes, to fit in Haythornthwaite, either Dunn or Fisher will miss out which is a shame as they deserve a spot based on current form.

I’m not sure of Ama’s fitness as she hasn’t played for a bit but obviously a way to go until the WC’s.

After watching all 3 tests, I’d pick Dunn over Fisher. Although Fisher was fantastic, there isn’t really room for both.

    Dunn, Harten, Housby, Haythornthwaite

    Pitman, Clarke, Guthrie, Cobden,

    Guscoth, Gibson, EUB, Mentor

Fisher, Sasha Corbin and Agbeze unlucky to miss out.

EUB is a match winner and will be there hands down. I think you need both Pitman and Haythornthwaite as you need two specialists WA’s, plus both deserve to be there.

When you say Eboni won’t travel, where to? One game is in Liverpool, the other 2 in London.

Yes Dunn maybe edges it for the experience..(plus she can play GA if needed).

Thanks for this PhilT. I was too lazy to check where it was being played.

EUB didn’t play in the last Quad. As she’s been studying for her career after netball i put it down to that rather then injury. i have to admit it is pure speculation on my part.

Mentor, Ama, Guscoth & EUB it is then but i’m not confident about Ama… Raz or Gibson  :tease:

I don’t think she played as she was getting married and on her honeymoon!
