That’s genuinely good to hear. She seems like a lovely person, and as I said very popular with her team-mates and the rabid Firebirds fans.

Plus I like to see/hear of a Qlder doing well ;-)

Kim Commane is heading to Bath. Great news, will be a great addition for them. I rate Commane quite a bit ahead of Friday.

She must be eligible for a UK passport with  Friday already an import.

Perhaps explains why she won’t join until the middle of pre-season. Sorting that out.

Has anyone ever seen Beryl Friday play as a WA?

Rumour has it that neither have a UK passport.  Won’t be able to play them both in the shooting circle and the delay may be due to Bath trying to convince the league management that Friday is primarily a WA.

Why can’t they play them both in the shooting circle?

Why can’t they play them both in the shooting circle?

Teams are not allowed to have two imports in the same court area and must specify their playing positions as part of the registration

Will be a real shame if Drakeford Lewis ends up riding the pine – she’s SUCH a talent!

Ah ok. Wasn’t aware of that rule. Friday definitely is not a WA so I don’t know how they planned to navigate around that one.
