Hmm Storm may struggle this season…I thought Tallisa Haynes had moved away from playing, over into coaching a couple of years ago?

Does one of those 2 or Jo Tripp have a UK passport?
That’s 3 imports that I can see and the limit is 2……..

Are you sure? I feel like I’ve seen teams with 3 imports in recent years. It certainly seems that way.

Hi Ian, yes it’s definitely 2 now. It changed last year I believe. Before that it was 3 though.

I know a few have/have had UK passports like Vanessa Walker and Chelsea Pitman. So I’m assuming one of those 3 must have.

I have been watching this pre season tournament all day. It is so great watching the VSNL teams (well four of them) in action! Even Msomi was watching the first match on Facebook/Surrey Storm’s video/live page. Currently watching Mavs V Sirens right now. It would be great to see some more NZ and Aus people watching, but I guess the time difference means that many of you guys are in bed, asleep!

I watched a bit of it, but I’m sorry, I just can’t take all those damn lines on the court. How on earth do you English people put up with that?

So final placings of that pre-season event were…

    1. Mavericks
    2. Team Bath
    3. Storm
    4. Sirens

Interesting that Springfree are sponsoring netball in England as well as Sunshine Coast Lightning

That won’t be the match court – they lay vinyls down for the televised games (although I guess the non tv games will be like this). As a player, tbh, you don’t notice the other lines when you’re playing.
