Thunderbirds will get Pitman back as she will be living here with her husband but they also need a few of the other students on that list of uncontracted players, Cobden, Guscoth, or Folau. I really hope they made a mistake and Lange isn’t on a 2 year deal, or they NEED TO RELEASE HER from her contract, Hodges would be much better.

I think as long as Swifts can improve Klau’s contract she will want to stay

I love that this list has been released to the public, there is a lot of potential for movement but I think many will re-sign where they are.

I think Eddy will end up at Vixens to replace Ingles.

But keeping my fingers crossed that Klau stays with Swifts after some negotiating.

The only way Swifts could upgrade Klau would be by downgrading Eddy, or is the cap increasing next year? Of course Eddy leaving and redirecting that to Klau and signing a player on a base level contract is another option. But given how stacked their roster is I am not sure Eddy would actually be on that much.

Would love to see Rav take a pay cut but for a coach who can get her game back up there, Simone or NT would be great but of course I doubt this

No – you have 2 recent titles.  Let some other teams have a go.

I would hope that we (Fbirds) maintain a midcourt of Cassidy, MiMi, Simpson and Gardener. I think that’s a good mix of experience, speed and youth!

defencewise I hope we pick up Brandley over Dehaney. I think having Brandley allows more rotation for Jenner and Hinchliffe to play both GK and GD and provides a good mix of three players who can play both GD and GK.

See, I would rather have Dehaney over Brandley. With Brandley there, it is essentially 3 GDs with Hinchliffe able to play GK well too. With Dehaney there would be a legitimate change up with a taller, specialised GK to contender with the taller GK. Beside I think Dehaney would have more incentive than Brandley to move with Romelda Aiken there.

I would be genuinely surprised if Klau and/or Eddy don’t resign with the Swifts. They have done such a good job keeping a team together for 3 seasons, with them only getting the results in their 3rd season, to throw that all away now would be such a waste. The only reason I could see either of them moving is because THEY really want to, not because Swifts don’t want them.

So that makes two would be future Diamonds (Garbin and Austin) still potentially sitting on the bench for another year.  Although Garbin is better at Swifts than heading back to Fever…the graveyard for GAs
