Would have liked to have seen her teamed up with Maria Folau, with Pitman at WA 😍

Thwaites Folau Pitman Petty ?? Guscoth Stirling – would be a strong 7 for Tbirds.

Doubt Thwaites would want to make that big of a move…..and they already have Potgeiter (sp?)

Kayla Stanton just re-signed for Fever. I was hoping for a gun transfer grr. Stanton has flashes of brilliance but I’m not sure her speed or agility can improve from here?

I don’t mind this for them, as she bring a different dynamic to ATN. But I don’t think we will see them break into the top 4 next season (which hopefully contains Firebirds and/or Thunderbirds) 😉

That also wraps up the Fever 2020 team signings, which are the same as their 2019 team signings.

Fever were unlucky to have so many draws, make 3 of those wins and it’s a different season, it will only take some midcourt improvements to see them turn it around.

Yep, I realise the midcourt is the issue. Charles has stepped up and is getting better at the feed to Fowler but Colyer still just centre pass receiving and then getting lost. Her goal assists are almost getting lower and lower as the seasons progress… Making the goal attack have to do it and then also getting lost as to what the role entails. Some work to do over the off season but hopefully they can sort it out…

Well one was actually a loss, if the time had have been called correctly, and cost Giants a place in the finals.  So at the end of the season every team has a ‘would’ve, could’ve, should’ve.’

Oh dear! Not a very inspirational signing. This team is going nowhere. Very disappointing.

I think someone like Jess Anstiss needs to move. She has stagnated in this team and I cannot see her getting back into the Aussie squad.

So it’s the exact same team that took them from grand finalists to 6th place?? Oh dear, glad I’m not a Fever supporter.

Yes, I feel the same for Charles as well. Obviously a decent athlete and WA/C just struggling in the Fever setup. I would’ve like to see her back at Firebirds, but that was never an option because she had already signed with Fever.

It’s a bit of an underwhelming team but Bruce’s injury also caused a bit of disruption and there were the games Stanton was injured. I think it’s good they are giving it another season to try and gel rather than chopping and changing.
