This is amazing! Love her story and how she always has the option of continuing basketball in Aus if she chooses to. She is a great talent and can’t wait to see her with Medhurst.

SAME!! I don’t think she will regret moving to Magpies, they have a stellar team and will probably have a really good season. I’m just exciting to see her improve even more!

I’m guessing Lightning, Giants, Vixens and Thunderbirds were all offering her something, however serious their offers were.

A great read, such a talented woman.  Hope her next season goes well.

Another lovely story to put what the internationals go through in perspective. I love how she puts a coin between her fingers to stop her from dribbling.

I didn’t realise Nelson was so almost-brand-new to netball! This was a great story – the athletes from the less well off nations have even bigger motivations to succeed that those who can take home and food for granted. Am already on board for Collingwood next season (thanks Medhurst!) and now will watch with even more interest.
