    Signing Tuivati was a mistake.

The match against Thunder was woeful. I thought there were weak links all through court, not just at GS. Abernethy wasn’t strong enough in attack to play C and her game improved when she moved to WD. However, this forced Maxwell to C and she is their best WD!

Gallagher was good but had far too much work to do and carried the attack on her own. I thought the really tall young GS who came on (Barrie? or Boyle?) had promise and they should give her more court time as she did quite well against the Thunder defence but her inexperience showed.

I was really disappointed watching this game, especially when the commentary team kept telling us what a close game Bath V Storm was, which was happening un televised elsewhere !!

Another Kiwi coach with bibs in the air. They just don’t get the English Style LOL.

This is a really good move. The Sirens attacking unit has been weak. They have the shooters (albeit the GS’s are quite young), but so far the C and WA have largely struggled to feed them good ball:this is Atkinson’s area of expertise. She worked wonders with the Loughborough midcourters.
