When do the Ferns fly out?

I wonder if there is still a problem with Mes too?

Rore will fly out with the Ferns tomorrow.

MSB and Rore will train with the Ferns in preparation for the WC in Liverpool.   A decision on who will play the tournament will be made on the eve of the tournament to allow Rore the time to prove her fitness.

What’s the ruling on injury replacements during the tournament? Is it like CWGs where players can’t be replaced?

I think it’s that up to tournament players can be changed for injury, once the tournament starts, they can’t be replaced.

Yes that’s what I understand too. So that’s why Mannix, Moloney, Phillip and Simpson are heading off on a European holiday after helping the Diamonds prepare in Liverpool.

This was some of Fiji’s issue at Comm games, where they finished with only about 5 fit players.

Also S Africa who lost a couple of players pre-tournament & then had injuries during the early rounds.

That’s why a fit squad of 12 is required – no replacements permitted.
