Is 5000 seats enough? It doesn’t seem very future-thinking.

That’s exactly what I was thinking ctree. Definitely not enough when you think of the crowds that the Firebirds attract.

What is Boondall’s capacity? > 5,000. Positive = Netball Stadium.

They are 2 years into SSN. Not 2 years post inception.

Come on! It’s not 1999. Ludicrous.

Meanwhile Priceline Stadiums capacity is less than 3000

Yeah. The only thing is that Hinchliffe is only 185cm. But in saying that, so was Geitz. I think Hinchliffe might struggle against Bassett and Fowler, but I think she would be fine against the rest of the GS. Plus she will be practising against Romelda each training, so she would be used to playing against to tall shooters. But Clemesha is 190cm, so if she was struggling, Clemesha is taller option they could bring on. But yes, I think Hinchliffe should be given the start ahead of Clemesha.

I definitely think that Jenner and Hinchliffe need to be starting for FB! That would be a great boost as both girls are destined for the Diamonds. Clem is great for the team spirit but I don’t think she’s going to excel as a starting defender for the Firebirds.

Well it was Clemesha at GK when Firebirds beat Lightning this season.

Yes I always come back to this. Both her and Hinchliffe played really well that game. But think back to 2017 she didnt really have much impact, but if she going to deliver performances like the one against Lightning, I wouldnt be too upset if she got the start.

Clem got more intercepts that game then she did the whole of the 2017 season

If she can bring that form into next year she’ll get the start. I’m just not convinced she can do that week in, week out. Hope she proves me wrong!
