I don’t, unless she wants to sit on the bench.  She will be behind JLP at Giants, whether she deserves to be or not.  JLP is a Julie Fitz favourite.   Not that I don’t like JLP – girl’s got grit (could be a future Fever player).

Hahahaha, lol but nah, JLP can C really well and McCulloch WD. I’m sure with Guthrie gone, she’ll want JLP to take C anyway to continue the connection, unless they are picking up a specialist C from interstate or internationally.

Giants would be better off signing Parmentier than McCollouch.

Kate Eddy and Nat Haythornthwaite signed on for 2019

I thought Eddy might leave but maybe McCulloch is leaving so she will be starting WD? I do prefer her in GD though

Weird for Nat H, surely she will be behind Hadley and Housby. In the shooting circle Akle will most likely go to Garbin to have a change up instead of Nat, although early in the season she did bench Hadley a bit so she will get game time but probably not as much as she should get

Feel like it would be better for Eddy’s development if she had gone home but her and Turner could both have some time in WD. I like Eddy at GD from what we did see of her there so I guess it’s a bit like Firebirds where they’ll switch it up as needed.

Haythornthwaite doesn’t surprise me, I expected that, but I was sure Eddy was going to move to Magpies, perhaps they didn’t want her? But regardless, both great pick-ups for the swifts, and if they can pick up a young WD (Amy Parmenter) than that would work nicely. I still think McCulloch is off to the Giants.

Sophie Halpin did well for the swifts in WD this year and that was against Liz Watson among others. I was hoping that they would sign Lauren Moore who can play all three defensive positions and is a young NSW talent. I’m happy to have Eddy on board but her moving back to Victoria wouldn’t have bothered me too much.

Reckon Haythornwhaite was always going to stick around, it was kind of like a trial. But the question now is, who goes? I guess O’Brien won’t be ready in time so no contract, and Abbey McCullouch will be the last player is she sticks around
