I think they will have a centre court player as a training partner and replacement player for O’Shannessy for the majority of the season, that’s why they’ve contracted Mcdonell. I think JLP will be centre, Julie seemed to be developing her into a centre last season and Parmenter will be WD.

Toni Anderson back in Australia. She would’ve had more opportunities back over in England so its an interesting choice for her. Family would have at the very least have a small part in her decision.

Marshal is a great shooter. Learning from Bassett and Harten will also help her development

I’ve been wondering where Toni would end up for a couple weeks now so it’s great to see her back at the Giants

It’s interesting that they have Matilda McDonell in the 10 and Andersen  as a training partner. Andersen clearly the more experienced of the two.if Manu’a / Poolman’s isn’t working or the one at GA isn’t keeping up with a speedy GA will they have the confidence to turn to McDonnell?  With o’Shannesy’s injury Andersen may well be in the 10 anyway and get more courttime so it might prove to be a moot point depending on who they bring in to cover O’Shannessy.
