This is also great for Gabby Sinclair. She will learn sooooo much under Nat Medhurst, she has been there and done that, and that experience will be priceless to Sinclair. I’m very very excited about Magpies next year (although I’ll still be barracking for the Firebirds). I said earlier I was super worried about Magpies losing all their best players, and not being able to pick anyone up…..guess I don’t need to worry about that.

I can sense this as another step towards a huge Fever/Magpies rivalry. First, the Magpies decimated the Fever side by taking a heap of their players in 2017, and now they have pounced on a fantastic player the Fever threw away for 2019. Those games this season are going to be very interesting to watch!

I think the Magpies are going to have their best season yet. It does feel like a bit of de ja vu getting excited over their star-studded line up, but I think with a new coach and so much change, history is unlikely to repeat itself.

I’m hoping for a three-peat, even with Geva there.

I see that Jane Woodlands-Thompson has now got the job as the head of women’s sport at Collingwood, so basically the boss of both the AFLW team and the SSN team.

Wasnt she coaching a football team before returning to the Thunderbirds for 2018? It makes sense that she has that position now.

Its hard to dislike this team. Nelson Medhurst Robo Braz Mentor. All likeable players.
Very interested to see Nelson. She was good at Tbirds but now a star studded Line up feeding her. I think she will become one of the most dangerous GS players in the competition. Jamaica are so lucky.

I can’t see Ravaillion on the bench. I hope Madi doesn’t finish her career on the pine.

I would still have Rav at C. Madi and Kelsey are both amazing at WA, they are serviceable at C.

I can see Rav playing her role better, next season, as she’ll have very crafty players up ahead of her. Biggest player to help with her form, IMO will be Medhurst.
