Kim Rav is elite and ash Brazil, Kelsey Browne and April Brantley are not? Brazil the best WD in the comp, Kelsey Browne arguably the starting WA for Diamonds and Brantley GD for Diamonds. Rav is ‘in the diamonds’ but look how much bench time she had last year. I don’t mind Rav being an elite player, but at least Brazil should be there and arguably the other two as well.

I reckon this is primarily a marketing decision – which players are supporters going to be willing to pay a premium for – rather than an opinion on quality of play. I am assuming this is general revenue to the club, rather than a salary cap top up, and as such I wonder if there is any cap on the number of sponsors they will accept per player.

The video Brazill put on her Instagram of the tackle looked very very nasty. I hope that she is okay.

Not liking the look of all the tape on both of Browne’s knees in the practice match.

Great leadership team. Mentor and Robinson were both somewhat expected in Captain/Vice Captian but I think going with Co-Captian will work too. Good to see Kelsey as VC though, she obviously is well respected in the group (even if she isn’t an ‘elite player’  :beee: ). Also interesting to note Rav and Braz are in ‘leadership training’, or something like that, too.

Doing it this way presumably also covers them if one of their captains isn’t on the court (bearing in mind the embarrassment of riches in the midcourt) – four into three doesn’t go!

Magpies have listened to feedback and reintroduced Full Season reserved seat memberships – Court Reserved Seat – category 1 and Gold Reserved Seat – category 2. Pies have also introduced a Reserved Bay Active Area.
