Well Done MAGPIES for listening and not being an ostrich.

Shows RESPECT for the fan base who support the team.

    Good decision.

True.. well done to them for turning about. But really….what clown (or *bunch* of people with floppy shoes) thought the original offerings were suitable or preferable to the norm?

This Magpies team looks really good.  With a really good coach, I’m expecting big things from this team.  I think picking up Mentor and Medhurst and retaining a few very good midcourt players (ok Rav didn’t have a great season but has a lot of potential) and bringing in Browne, there is a lot to like about the team.  Add in Nelson who I think is an amazing talent who will be a superstar of the game in years to come, they are going to be hard to stop.  I think about Aiken and Fowler in their early years and I think Nelson is already steps ahead of them – it will be frightening to see how she develops under Wright.

Let’s hope Ash Braz doesn’t injure herself playing AFL.

    Rob Wright: Tassie Pre-season Camp

We didn't get a win in Tassie during our pre-season practice games against the Sunshine Coast Lightning, but according to Head Coach Rob Wright the camp was a huge success.

Let’s hope Ash Braz doesn’t injure herself playing AFL.

She was injured in the match played on the weekend against the Dockers. Not sure how badly. I will try and find out some information.

$2500 for an elite player, $2050 for a key player and $1250 for a training partner.
