Wow that umpire is definitely a Swifts supporter! That was no contact by Philip.

Samantha Wallace is killing it. Both attack ends have been so good in the second half; I guess the Vixens will take away some confidence going into finals knowing they won the second half with Kumwenda

Swifts deserved the win, but that umpiring was atrocious.

I hope the vixens game review looks at coaching as well. It was so very clear early the shooting circle wasn’t working. I love Thwaites but she was just not an option. Feeders could not find her and as she took up space at the post Philip was continually forced to shoot long. Took close to 30 minutes to change it. Vixens won the second half once they made the change.

    Vixens 9 intercepts to 2.

Goals from turnovers swifts 13 to 4.

Vixens as a team had more NNP …..

What do Vixens do once Venter’s calf is okay? They quite clearly need Kumwenda in their team of 10 to have any chance of holding the trophy. Kumwenda is a better match up on Mentor and now appears also to be against Klau.

Maddy Proud basically told Sue she’ll be taking her job one day. Sooner the better I’d hope

I like Sue’s honesty and humour. We need a west coast commentator. That’s my beef with AFL. So Victorian biased!

I think even if Venter hadn’t been injured she always would have been demoted to a training partner when Kumwenda came back. I’d be surprised to see her in a 10 again unless there’s an injury in the shooting circle. Probably won’t see her in SSN again at least for a while.

I didn’t watch this game, was out to dinner and of course the Swifts decide to win. At least I can watch the replay stress free.
