I think Contax have been won both reserves and premier league GFs for a few years so it would be nice to see a change, Matrics shooting stats not great but very lucky with some great rebounds and they are currently leading 32-28 with 8 minutes to go in the game. They have come back from five goals down at qaurter time.

Contax have a small shooting circle and they have now brought on a taller holding GS for the last 7 minutes of the third

Taller GS misses three times in a row, Horjus on the other hand missed twice the whole game, not sure about the change but getting Hodges into GA has been good.

Packard and Burgess just really solid and Matrics lead by 8 with 6 minutes to go, Horjus back on but at GS.

Matrics WA is playing amazing, not sure who she is. I think it is Stacey Hein, former U/21 player, just AMAZING!

MVP actually went to Laura Packard. I would’ve given it to Stacey Hein too, so quick and strong, and rarely turns the ball over.

Nankivell injured her arm in the third, played out the game and had it iced at the end.

I believe Contax substitutions cost them the game. But congrats to Matrics. Overcame a 18 goal loss in the first final.

Yep sorry, the commentators were very confusing, I couldn’t differentiate when they were discussing fact and opinion.  Stacey Hein would be a nice training partner for the Thunderbirds as well Burgess who it looks like won’t be getting a contact if Nankivell and Shadine both stick around.

Hopefully a few SA young guns performed well and their franchise team “Adelaide ” Thunderbirds reward them with contracts instead of going for a full squad of imports…….
