    https://www.news.com.au/sport/tennis/wimbledon/nick-kyrgios-had-plenty-to-say-after-a-wild-defeat-against-rafa-nadal-except-to-one-simple-question/news-story/74d6805ab66959a6545312da6aa61550

I want to openly say I like Nick Kyrgios. I don’t love him – I like him. I can squarely put a lot of him down to youth. But he’s 24 (my kids were once 24) now. He may mature at some stage. He was born on 27th April 1995 and Ash Barty 24th April 1996. Like Nick, Love Ash.

Can some star sign, fortune telling, future predicting, Nostradamus guru prophet wannabe please clue me in on this? This star sign personality thing and all that? Why are they so different? Get me the Powerball numbers while you are at it. Ohhh – Yessss! 1-40 and the Powerball 1-20? Thanks heaps.

I love the “Nick responds to Rafa controversy”. This is brilliant. I love Rafa. Don’t get me wrong. But Nick has called him out. Rafa gets to control time. He does it over and over and over. He’s not just controlling time, he’s controlling momentum. Those time standards are there not for OH & S (some are – but between points?) but to allow enough time to prepare and stop time wasting. They should be the exception not be the norm. They should be the maximum allowable standard. The Umpire lost control of this. Same reason we can’t get 90 overs in a 6 hour day in Test Cricket.

And for God’s sake Rafa get some undies that fit. Get a tailor in – get them customer made – wear a Ginga (is that how you spell/say it) – you aren’t broke.

It’s like Novak!?! How many times do you need to bounce the ball Novak before you recognise it is a tennis ball? Serve the thing!!!!!

Article about Nick Kyrgios. I agree with some of it, disagree with other parts, but in general it just makes me mad. There is FAR too much money in tennis. Well, to losers anyway. I expect people like Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, Williams to win a lot of money, because they win a lot of tournaments. And BIG tournaments. But I hate the fact that a player can lose in the first or second round and still get a truckload of money. It’s ridiculous. If you lose in the first round, you should get nothing.

I get what you mean Ian. But I’m just not on the same page this time.

Here’s why. An article regarding the cost to John Isner who is ranked 12th in the World.

If he doesn’t get to the 2nd Round he loses money.
