The clock ran out before Central could complete their come back against the Southern Blast. The game was free flowing, there wasn’t a great deal of umpires whistle. A few of the Steel players watched the first half of the game, afterwards they left for the Junior Steel members function.

How on earth did that score happen? Did South have to play with their actual Beko players, rather than their Steel ones?

Yes, that’s quite a hiding. I don’t think Fafita played but I could be wrong, one of the Steel girls played. Some very poor shooting didn’t help the cause.

Mainland played well! Finally had Glenn at GA, which worked well. Tall fast player, and I think first year out of school, so will be eligible for U21s.
Prosser is so good. If she could learn GA, Tactix should sign her over Bevo or Leaver.

Wouldn’t it be in the Tactix best interest to sign Glen who actually plays GA, rather than sign Prosser and turn her into a GA?

IMO Glen is to ‘flaky’. Prosser shoots way better and after watching yesterdays game moves really well to. In fact she moved a lot faster than Glen, who reminds me of Leaver. But I guess a good Coach could knock her into shape.

Wow! Makes a huge difference when ANZ bench players are unable to play Beko.
Its a shame Central didnt play also today.
They aways seem to be able to use Gordon and Temu.
Impressive stats from Prosser and Heffernan
Compared to Leaver, Hume, Mes at ANZ level….

Fletcher seems to be getting turned into a C WD. Another great GD moving forward because of height

Watching the Mainland Beko (who sit at the bottom end of the table) doesn’t really inspire thoughts of promoting their shooters up into the ANZ league

    A little unrealistic

Marshall and Lyoyd are both good examples of players unable to take/make the step up

Mainland need to get recruiting FAST
