SA team list still not out? I checked the NSA website too and although the stats show most player names, there are a few blanks

It has been hard trying to get info this year. NA usually update things but they have done almost nothing on their own competition. Will check again later and see what I can dig up.

I’ve found it hard to find info as well! Normally when they post the reports they post who played where and shooting stats, etc. This year when most teams have posted a report, it’s basically just stating who won and lost… pretty poor really.

I want to know who played well, who’s up and coming!!!!

The Beko League has been treated exactly the same as the ANZP. Every game has Live Scoring and the teams supplied Team Lists at the start of the Season. And 1 game has been broadcast nearly every week.

And the Beko League Grand Final will be televised this Sunday. From casual observation there does seem to be  more use of Beko League players in the ANZP than there are ANL players in the SSN. And there have been several players elevated to ANZP teams this year, Nathan at Tactix, Nweke at Mystics, Howe at Magic to cover for injury or as replacements for other players.

The difference seems to be that SSN players are dropped DOWN to ANL, whereas Beko players are brought UP to ANZP.

By that I mean that ANL teams will tend to play 2 games on a weekend. One of them will be purely ANL players, the other will feature 2 or 3 players who didn’t get much (or any) game time in the SSN.

There’s little or no coverage of it anywhere and the crowds are very small. I think the ANL has been treated pretty badly really.

I enjoy watching the ANL but I won’t travel all the way to Sydney Olympic Park for it. last week was great, there was a Swifts game, then the ANL, then the Giants game. If only they could be held in conjunction with SSN home games, I could go to them all!
