Does anyone know what happened to Fifita?

Some sort of injury, daughter saw her in a moon boot.

Half way point, I would almost say the Stars are playing better without TB.

I agree, although I think they could do will Halpenny – although I wouldn’t miss my brother’s wedding either!

    Unsure about the Cullen/Fowler switch.

Potgeiter is on and after 3 1/2 minutes she’s 5/5. Will look to see if the defenders focus on her low release like last week.

Dumb coaching from Wills. Cullen isn’t a option at C at all.  Team was doing well but no lets make a stupid change.

Well done Steel but can we get some neutral commentators? As far as they were going on Wilson had the crap beaten out of her by steel defenders. But she gave as good as she got!!

60 – 58 to Steel at the end.

    Crampton MVP.

I don’t think that I would have had Crampton as MVP, but then I thought I have no idea who I would have picked out as MVP from either side.

Really bad call from Wills in the 3rd.

Cost them the game, that at some poor shooting.

I wouldn’t have called Crampton as MVP either.
Great to see NT present on Sunday games. I will say TPSR really needs to put her foot down the second half of season to have SF recall.

I’d agree with the commentators, I think Courtney is quite a dirty player.

    Yikes!!

Got the game to watch soon.

It’s bloody hard following on Live Scoring. Especially in the last 4 minutes. Waiting for the score to click over  and when it takes ages wondering what has happened.

But an ugly win by the sounds. But a win is a win.

First and last qtrs both won by the Steel 15-14 and the two middle qtrs won by the same margin as well. 2nd to Stars and 3rd to Steel both by 5.

How did SR play? Ferns back up GA material?

Statistically speaking she was on full time. LP and Jen 1/2 each. 80% shooting rate but only 1/3 of shots and 69% at 1/2 time.

IMO she creates good space but hasn’t shown enough growth in her game…yet!!

I watched that game to watch TPSR and Wilson. Both GA’s got 1/3 of their team’s goals…why oh why did T’Birds get rid of Hodges, what a delightful GA to watch ……

If they play Maria as GS they’re looking for another GA besides Eke and another GS; and if they play Maria at GA then they’re looking for two GSs. And if they want flexibility, they need another player who can also do GA/GS…Mes or Falkner? I couldn’t pick it after today’s game…neither TPSR or Wilson were great; neither were bad but not great %.

Will have to watch the game tomorrow to watch Falkner.

Bring on announcement day, I’ll just have to keep watching the NZ games which means 5 weeks of overlaps once the SSN starts in a fortnight! Yikes.
