Tactix played well. I LOVE Poi at WA.
Grace N is a bloody great talent for Mystics. Hopefully they look after her and develop her well.
    Lloyd showed promise today.

Seeing the Mystics huddle, it looks like Mes will be captain. Doing most of the talking.

I believe Karaka is captain this season.

Great to see the young players and all the different combinations, and Wilson definitely played so much better in that last Stars game.

I find the comments about ANZ might not having imports next season rather interesting. Is that a good thing? That means little exposure to different styles and that could be a weakness? Wouldn’t you be worried if players from other nations didnt want to play in ANZ because they dont see it as a league in which to develop?

Anyway looks like this ANZ season will be much closer, which is exciting. Will be very interesting to see who makes into the WC Ferns.

Forgot to Say that Bird has really improved. She’s actually moving about a lot more.  Good to see.

Oh yes just saw Karaka is captain.
    Bird has improved a lot!
Will be a close ANZ, but Pulse and Steel seem to be the frontrunners, especially with Potigeter there.

Not sure about the Steel, they should have lost to the Mystics.  Irene VD made a good comment in the commentating, bother TP and Potg…. play a GS style when in the circle, not enough movement.  They really struggled in the 2nd half against the Pulse.

Should be a very good comp.  Mila R-B for the Stars looks very impressive, Cullen looks great at GD, Falkner for the Magic, Bird played well in the last 2 games.

Didn’t seem to worry the Silver Ferns in the 2000’s we went downhill once the old ANZ started up.

The Stars vs Magic showed the potential the Stars have. Without their veterans but the young ones stood up. MRB absolutely outstanding again. Can’t wait to see what she brings to the ANZ premiership

One player im picking to break into the game day 10 for Magic is Greer Sinclair. She was great for them! IMO much more effective than Jemma O’Sullivan.
Magic will be strong this year . Falkner has improved, Latu Meafou is looking good.
I don’t think there are any weak teams.
I really hope we see Cullen continue to stay fit. She looked VERY good during the weekend.
