    FINAL SCORE

    Lightening 59 Thunder 50

    pom – Sterling

Not having watched, this seems to have been maybe a better quality game with Lightning just having the edge and moving away at the end.

agree – the Thu/LL game was significantly better.  Bath were truly disappointing!

Wasps to win final next week:

Well they did look dominant in their Semi. But I put that down to Baths inept performance as much as their own outstanding one.

If Sterling, Oyesola and Cobden play as well as they did against Thunder in their Semi, then it could be a close fought GF.

I did have to chuckle at Almond. No matter how hard she tried, she always seemed to get pinged when Proscovia stepped in on her shot. And Ella Clarke always looks totally bored, like she’d rather be anywhere else but on court. Mind you she is very accurate.

Didn’t much like Stephenson the Umpire. A few to many 50/50 calls that seemed a bit odd. And cautions galore that seemed a bit inconsistent.

5pm UK time Saturday which is Sunday 2am AEST here in Australia. They’ve basically scheduled it between the 2 World Cup 1/4 finals. That’s providing the England v Sweden game doesn’t go to extra time. That’s what they’re worried about. If that game goes to ET, there won’t be many people taking any notice of the netball.
