Whats others thoughts on Sam Wallace not making the T & T squad for CG?

thought she would have been a shoo-in

Yeah, she wasn’t left out of the squad. T&T didn’t qualify.

So, would their unhelpful draw in the 2015 NWC, where they had to play Aust and NZ in the rounds, have affected their ranking and therefore their ability to qualify here? I know that NWCs had 16 teams and only 12 for CWG, but I would have thought they were in the top 12

I was thinking that the last series where they lost to Barbados was where the points were on the line. They were without Wallace and McCollin too I think. So the experience of playing outside the country had a detrimental impact on their availability to make the national side wins that they needed.

Yes, if they had won just one of the 3 tests v Barbados, they’d be going to the Gold Coast. Or… if they had simply not played them at all.

It’s been announced on FB, but for those of you who don’t follow it, Netball Scoop is delighted that we’ve had a team of four writers and two photographers accredited for the Commonwealth Games. Looking forward to providing you with a first class coverage of this event.

Fantastic: reports from people who actually know the game, the players and what they’re talking about!😊

    Ditto.

And despite being unpaid, these people will, in my experience, have a much more professional approach to the job of reporting the games and interviews than the paid journalists. We are indeed very lucky.

Northern Ireland was originally drawn in Pool B, but was moved over to Pool A, as there was not allowed to be more than 3 teams from the same region in the same Pool.

I don’t know. I’m not sure I agree with that. I reckon it would be brilliant to have Scotland, Wales & N.Ireland all in the same pool. England doesn’t matter as they will beat all of them easily, but the other 3 teams are all pretty close in ability and will surely have good competitive matches.
